Hotel Arena is centre of both international and local culture and activity. The accent is upon hosting cultural events, and the facilities consist of a hotel, bar, restaurant, club, and conference rooms. These are called respectively TOSTAY, TODRINK, TODINE, TONIGHT and TOMEET. The Hotel is easily reachable both by car and by public transport. There is a parking area on the grounds. It was built in 1890 and first used as Roman-Catholic orphanage. Later it became an old age home, and in the 1980's a youth hostel. A number of noted designers participated in the renovation, and the result is a modern but character-full building.
