- Ride Tram 28: Rattles through Alfama and Graca. Touristy but still magical — go early.
- Fado in Alfama: Live traditional Portuguese music in a tiny tavern. Emotional. Order wine.
- Sunset at a miradouro with a Super Bock: The cheapest, best evening in Lisbon
Local tips
- Wear comfortable shoes: the hills are no joke. Cobblestones are slippery when wet.
- Tram 28 is a pickpocket hotspot. Keep valuables in a front zipped pocket.
- Ginjinha (cherry liqueur): try a shot at A Ginjinha near Rossio. €1.50.
- Sintra is a must day trip (40min train). Book Pena Palace in advance.
